Get Presigned Direct Upload URL (recommended for large files)

First request a presigned URL from this endpoint, then have the client PUT the file directly to object storage without going through Crazyrouter servers. Suitable for larger images or poor network conditions.

Flow:

POST /v1/files/uploads/presign with filename / content_type / size;

Upload the file bytes to upload_url using the returned method (usually PUT), and you must include every request header from headers exactly as given (Content-Type, Content-Length); if method is POST (Alibaba Cloud OSS), submit a multipart form containing all fields from fields plus file;

No "complete upload" call is needed: the record is created at request time, so just pass the url from the response to the image-to-image / image-to-video / vision understanding endpoints.

Limits: supports image/png, image/jpeg, image/webp, image/gif; 20MB per file; the presigned URL is valid for 15 minutes (upload_expires_at); the generated public URL expires after 48 hours by default (expires_at); the user's 24-hour rolling upload quota defaults to 200MB; this endpoint is rate-limited to 10 requests per 60 seconds.

Last verified/modified: 2026-09-28 (API Base URL unified to https://api.crazyrouter.com; example model names follow what GET /v1/models returns); tested: all four responses 200/400/413/429 match the docs; upload_url is a Cloudflare R2 presigned PUT valid for 15 minutes
